Entertaining and scary

I have seen this picture before but I thought it was funny.

Im scared.  Obama needs to win, otherwise I think we are doomed.  Mccain, and especially Palin (who is batshit crazy) scare me.  Too crazy.  Obama wants to bring shit together, Palin and Mccain want to divide.  What happened to the idea that republicans wanted smaller government.  Taking away civil rights, to me, does not seem smaller.  The idea that if Mccain or Palin get in that they will overturn Roe V Wade and have no problems with creationism and abstinence only taught in schools (look how well it worked for her daughter) scare me.  And im done with school, know that abstinence only is bull and personally never plan on getting an abortion (a bit hard, no womb or girl parts being the majority of the reason).  Even I, a guy, think that women should have the choice.  And this shit where people who are pro-choice are really pro-abortion, is nonsense.  I wish people would stop lying.  Thats like saying that I'm anti religious so that really means I am a nazi.  HUGE stretch, and a blatant lie, yet people who don't think believe it.

It was recently pointed out that Palin said about her family that her daughter made the right choice about keeping the baby.  First of all, I doubt it was really a choice in the sense that mommy Palin would probably disown her (if she really believes what she says).  But even putting that aside, she had the choice.  Yet Palin (and those in her camp) want to remove the choice that she seems glad that her daugther made the right one of.  Isn't that a bit odd?

Now I will fully admit, I did not watch the Palin or McCain speeches.  Mainly because I see them as commercials on why to vote for them, and theres nothing they could say save for changing everything they stand for which is not going to happen.  I did watch Obama's speech as I was curious on how good it will be, and personally I thought it was great.  I did watch the faith forum thing that Rick Warren and his church did (and at least he gave a good go at being neutral so Icommend him for that, even though we all know that hes voting McCain).  I plan on watching the debates, mainly to see how they go (as again, short of McCain flipping on everything he has said, and Palin going away (or flipping, but I don't think shes capable of that, course McCain isn't either).  I encourage everyone to watch the debates, and vote.  Preferably for Obama, but the important part is vote.

Btw, did I mention, VOTE!

On a side note, a video from the Mythbusters guys (yes, im a large fan of them.)  Watch the video, then go and read the comments (they explain how they did it.)  Something to think about.
